Founded in the 1920s by King Prakadhipok, Hua Hin immediately became the royal family’s favorite summer destination. It was once a simple fishing village but after its discovery by the Siam royalty it became a frequent vacation spot by the noble class. One significant proof is The Klai Kangwon Palace (translated as “Far From Worries” Palace), which was put up by in 1928 by King Prakadhipok. Of course, you cannot miss the Klai Kangwon Palace which boasts of a beautiful Spanish inspired architecture and a commanding view of the sea and the vicinity’s ornamental garden.
